Almost every TV show tracker lives only on your phone. Which is strange, because the moment you actually need your list — what was I watching, and where was I? — you’re holding a remote, not a phone. Tessera puts your Up Next on the Apple TV itself.
What Tessera does on Apple TV
- Your whole list on the big screen. Every show you’re mid-way through, across your streaming services, with your place in each — as a real tvOS app with posters, not a phone screen squinted at from the couch.
- Launches you into the night. Pick a show and Tessera opens that streaming app on your Apple TV, where the service allows it — and is honest, per service, about what a click will do.
- Top Shelf, done right. Park Tessera in your favorites row and your next episodes appear above the app icons before you’ve clicked anything.
- Synced with your iPhone and iPad through your own iCloud — mark an episode watched on the train, and the TV knows by the time you’re home. No account required.
Honest limits, up front
tvOS is a locked-down platform: some streaming apps accept a direct jump on Apple TV, others only open to their home screen, and a couple can’t be launched at all. Tessera never pretends otherwise — each show tells you what will happen before you click. On iPhone and iPad, links go deeper: many big services open straight to your episode.
When
Tessera launches on iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV together. Waitlist members get in first — the earliest signups get the first TestFlight wave.
